Vision and Mission
Why we are:
The Coös Coalition for Young Children and Families works to promote optimal cognitive, physical, social and emotional development for children birth through 8 in Coös and the surrounding communities. Research shows that children with healthy social and emotional development are more likely to succeed in school, feel self-confident and work effectively with others, ensuring children have a better chance of becoming productive adults and contributing members of our communities.
Who we are:
The Coalition comprises diverse stakeholders from the following systems: health and mental health, early care and education, family support services, child welfare, K-12 education, and higher education. The Coalition's work provides meaningful opportunities for these systems to establish or maintain connections and collaborate. Agencies and organizations represented on the coalition are listed here.
Currently, the Coalition's work is supported by the Neil and Louise Tillotson Fund of the NH Charitable Foundation.
The Coalition is managed by Catherine P. McDowell. For more information, or to get involved, contact Cathy by Phone: 603-466-5105 • e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
