Why we are:

The Coös Coalition for Young Children and Families works to promote optimal cognitive, physical, social and emotional development for children birth through 8 in Coös and the surrounding communities. Research shows that children with healthy social and emotional development are more likely to succeed in school, feel self-confident and work effectively with others, ensuring children have a better chance of becoming productive adults and contributing members of our communities.

Who we are:

The Coalition comprises diverse stakeholders from the following systems: health and mental health, early care and education, family support services, child welfare, K-12 education, and higher education. The Coalition's work provides meaningful opportunities for these systems to establish or maintain connections and collaborate. Agencies and organizations represented on the coalition are .
